HP ProBook 5330m LG724EA Review
EliteBook series is a range of affordable business notebook with built-in quality and built to keep pace with the constant movement of the user. The M series is designed to appeal to a wider range, including business and consumer markets.
With ProBook 5330m, HP is introducing Beats Audio and illuminated keyboard M Series for the first time. The model under review includes an Intel Core i5-2520m, although users can opt for a Core i3-2310M $ 100 less than $ 799. Alternatively, the 5330m is a breakthrough in terms of specifications and features built-in security in the 5310m ProBook released in 2009.

Just under 1 inch thick (0.99 inches to be exact), 5330m is the thinnest laptop around, but it definitely feels solid. Anodized aluminum casing and magnesium frame and to provide a portable hard and smooth feel. Base can flex a little , but it takes a good amount of torque to do it.
The cover could be a business, unfortunately, because the finger can depress the outside of homes without a lot of power, especially toward the center. In any case, "DuraFinish" wear protective coating breaking down glare is really good and a little difficult to collect fingerprints and scratches than the rest of the screen.

The hinges are good when working at a desk stable but not rigid enough to be used for train travel on bumpy surfaces or unstable otherwise. An angle of about 135 degrees is permissible before the bottom of the cap reaches the back of the notebook base.
Connections
The 5330m includes a sufficient number of physical connectivity options. The built-in card reader can be more versatile, as it only accepts two types of flash cards, SD and MMC. A USB 3.0 port would have been nice, especially since the 5330m sells more or less the price level of $ 1,000. However, ports that are present are easily accessible.
Although one of the three USB 2.0 ports are always on the charger port is not a visual indicator of what the connection is using. Typically, these USB ports are in yellow, but for some reason, HP has failed to respect the color code of each port. This particular port is located on the right side, mainly for the user.
Connectivity options include WLAN wireless networking and Bluetooth 2.1 standard with the option of mobile broadband hardware. Display
HP 5330m uses a 13.3-inch matte anti-glare with a resolution of 1366x768 pixels. This decision is common for laptops of this size, although laptops competitors can offer the highest resolution 1440x900 at a ratio 4:10 p.m. instead. Based on first impressions, the screen may have been a little clearer, but does the job.
With the X-Rite i1Display 2, a respectable maximum screen brightness of 208.8 nits was recorded on the center of the screen, although the distribution and contrast were quite poor all around. When unplugged, the maximum brightness dipped even lower.
As expected, the color space produced by the 5330m is limited, covering only about 60 percent of the sRGB standard. Compared to the recently released 14-inch ProBook 4430s, the 5330m is on par in terms of color representation, but both are no match for the 15.6-inch ProBook 6560b. Professional graphic artists or heavy Photoshop users should best stay away from the 5330m as a primary notebook.
Outdoor use was more difficult than it should have been because of the low brightness levels. Screen glare was not a problem, but expect to ramp up the brightness of the 5330m to its highest if using the notebook outdoors.
Viewing angle stability is notebook-typical for a TN panel. Horizontal viewing angles are tolerable, but colors begin shifting almost immediately if viewing at vertical angles from below. The limitation should be fine for a single user, but the notebook isn’t recommended for movies with multiple viewers.
Performance
Sandy Bridge Intel Core i5 is running 2520m-5330m 2.5GHz power. This dual-core processor is fast enough, with 3 MB L3 cache and support up to 4 threads. Turbo Boost, can automatically increase the clock speeds of up to a temporary single-core 3.2 GHz or 3.0 GHz for both cores.
As usual, the laptop with the second generation of Core processors, IX, 5330m is equipped with an Intel Integrated Graphics GPU HD 3000. This particular graphics accelerator to get the maximum 650MHz, but the Turbo Boost can temporarily take up to two times the 1300MHz. Unfortunately, DirectX is supported only up to 10.1 in contrast to the AMD Fusion APU, which supports DirectX 11 Graphics Integrated Intel borrow system RAM required.
